One of the main highlights of the Art Deco Preservation Ball is the presentation of the Art Deco Preservation Awards. Awards are given to the people who have helped preserve the buildings, art, and culture from the Art Deco era.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2025 WINNERS!
MICHAEL F. CROWE AWARD: Oroville State Theatre, Miller & Pflueger architects. Restoration of an Art Deco interior of a 1928 Spanish Colonial movie theatre, including uncovering a large mural and recreation of the 1930s neon sign.
Burbank City Hall, William Allen and W. George Lutzi architects. Preservation and restoration of a 1943 Art Deco government building, including two large murals.
Save the United Artists Theatre, Berkeley. A grassroots group of volunteers, fighting the proposed demolition of this 1932 Art Deco movie palace designed by Walker & Eisen, with Clifford Balch.
The Verdi Club. Preservation and revitalization of an over 100-year-old San Francisco cultural and social institution, its 1935 building and its neon sign.
ART DECO LIFESTYLE AWARD: A.C. Griffing and Barrett Lindsay-Steiner. For their meticulously designed Art Deco home, 1930s style catering business, musical performance and many contributions to the ADSC.
